Large fanblades?no. A recording of an attempt tocreate the sound of an explosion using several clicks, modified with accoustic mirror using an audio sample of a preast reading the latin prayer 'pater noster', heavily flanged, reversed, flanged again, then crossfaded into a perfect loop?yes. So. . . Fanblades. Useful? you decide.

A ride/cymbal sound made with sunvox. It's a sampled noise impulse with a certain starting phase sent through a bandpass and then a reverb with a low room size, which acts as a resonator. It then goes through another filter and reverb set, then a compressor.

I worked out these 3 variations of the same bass sample, all very deep low frequency. Should be suitable for minimal techno or ambient, and it is useless for small amps, because sound is of very low freq. (format wav, 148khz 16bit stereo).

This is a recording of the ringing of a bell near a small church in belgium. I recorded it with my small tsacam dr-40 in a-b setting. There's some noise due to wind but not on the whole sample. . . And. . . We can hear angry birds too. . .

The sounds of a plastic bird toy, that you fill with water and then blow into to give the sound of a bird singing. Sounds surpisingly realistic considering it's just a plastic toy. Recorded in a small room in the tower of a castle. Sample also has a pretty heavy reverb added to it.

This is a mostly unprocessed sound that i made in massive. Its not amazing, but it can be used for layering multiple sample. I figured anyone who wanted to use this would want to process it themselves. If it helps, i used this video to create a kick drum and i discovered this sound by playing around with different waves. Soundscape of some pads. . Strange how the midi was created. . Used a granular device to create some sort of glitchy effect, then just converted that "melody" to midi in ableton, added stock ableton sound. And post processed to give it pad and ambience.

Download and loop. This break beat was made from freesound percussion hits, with some percussive hits from sound generators in fruity loops studio which was used to sequence and then quite heavily compressed in realtime, with seperate effects applied to the kicks and snares. Recorded out wav at 44khz 16bit stereo ~ 140bpm.

Two of the best-known, most-often used samples, together again for the first time: the amen break (the world's most famous musical sample, as sampled and cleaned by vexst http://www. Freesound. Org/people/vexst/sounds/24940/) and the wilhelm scream (the world's most famous movie/tv sound effect, as uploaded by sweetneo85 http://www. Freesound. Org/people/sweetneo85/sounds/13797/). Loops perfectly.

Just think about it - doesn't this sound like a sound effect for when a ill (or sick or drunk or so on. . . ) player jumps in a game? that's what i thought, and i hope you have fun with it!. Thanks for listening, and if you like this sound effect, you might also like my youtube channel (sample: https://www. Youtube. Com/watch?v=2u7lmcevx9e&t;=98s). P. S. This is an upload for a sample request (http://www. Freesound. Org/forum/sample-requests/32975/ ) for a person who wanted a haunting melody with some layers in the key of g# / ab. I am not a melody guy, so i don't know if i've got the notes right or if the piece may even fit the description of what the guy wants, but here it is!. Edit (mar 2018): no need to ask if you need to give me credit. Up to you. Just continue your amazing work with sounds & music. ;). Specs: 80bpm, 48000 hz, 24 bit, wav format, (i think it is in the key of g# / ab), original file name - haunting tone in g# abinstruments used (all found in reason 5 soundbank; all virtual): "a" piano, grand piano, pizzicato strings, violin, a random ghost layer synthesized in maelstrom graintable synthesizer, double basseffects used: a little equalization here and there; a little bit of delay on the pizzicato strings; volume automation.

Hello all,. I do hope that i am doing it all okay by the book, and if it is picked by the moderator, than do enjoy the file, thank you. Process :i did download a cc open scream file from freesound. Org. I imported that file to my ableton live. I reverse the sample and shorten a little. From the sample window i changed flux and grain values to bring out uneasy tones in front. I did make two other copies of the sample and played them all in same sequence, with slight different transpose values. I rendered it out and from the rendered file i did do further cleaning with audacity and export mp3 file for final. Here is the original sound http://www. Freesound. Org/people/claracarpintero/bottom one (female scream). Thank you kindly.

For free use. This is file for creating deep ambiance. Just mix that sound with other ambiance sound (on free sound there is at least a million such sounds. . . Like noice. . Like thunder rain. . . Like station. . . Like people tallk and so far. . . ). It works best with noises or other deep sounds. I think if you add a little bit of that sound to other audio file you can get very spezial sound for ambiante. I will add similar sound as a only vocal too. As always i wish you a good work and if you crated something, so please let me listen! thank you!.

I was looking for a sound in which a few high-pitched bells could be heard together with the spinning gears of the striking mechanism. I couldn't find a sound like that, so i made my own. The two bells are from a sample user 'nemodaedalus' uploaded (wuc_bell_high_and_low. Wav). I recorded the spinning gears myself. The sound comes from a 1920's junghans clock i saved out of a dumpster. It's pretty much broken, except for the striking mechanism.

In this sample you hear a recording from inside a well sound insulated room, directly under the roof of a house. Strong rain hints the roof and produces low frequency muted sounds. In the background you hear the constant noise of the rain, coming through the window. There are also a few raindrops hitting the glass of the window. The sample was recorded using the built-in stereo microphone of a zoom h4n recorder. It was slightly processed to remove unwanted low and high frequencies which were not related to the actual recording. If you use this sound, please add a comment or send a private message what you created using it. :-).

Murchunga (nepali: मुर्चुङ्गा) is one of the ancient musical instrument as jaw harp. This collection is a sample sound from one-particular instrument that comes pre-tuned to a scale when crafted. And the device being too tiny to produce the sound signal, it was difficult to record the full length and frequencies. There could be other better sounds from a professional recorder. It just gives an idea of how it hears.

This sound was created from an image of 16 bits / channel grayscale. You can see the image on the following link https://goo. Gl/j5cuhp. The image has been exported to raw format and then was imported into audacity where i applied effects and plugins. The effects and plugins that i use for these sounds called "image sonification" are: eq, paulstretch, reverb among others.

This is a classic hip-hop sound made by playing a snare forwards then backwards, with a hi-hat from the same sample played the same way for added effect. Drum sounds are from an old-school soul sounding drum break i found on soulseek. I created this in ableton.

Be carefull with the volume!!! i maxed out the eq and volume to get the most effect possible. . . Dont know, but it could be bad for your ears!! dont want anyone to get hearing problems. . . . :). Dare 26 spin-off. . . . Alienxxx processed a few samples out of sample:. Http://www. Freesound. Org/people/luckylittleraven/sounds/223075/. He wanted us to listen to the samples an tell if they were worse or not to the original samples. . So i just listened to a few samples and noticed something weird. . . On a few samples there is this very high pitch sound. . . Seems not everyone is able to hear this. . My girlfriend was listening with me and she didnt hear anything like this!!!to find out what was going on alienxxx suggested to run the samples thrue an eq to see what was going on. I used the following sample:. Http://www. Freesound. Org/people/alienxxx/sounds/234027/. I found out that there was a very high peak at 14,8khz around 14sec. And again at 20sec. After that i maxed out my eq at 14,8khz. Setting everything to maximize the peak that is so very very very annoying!!!. .

My first little attempt at making some film-like sound effects. Alot of bass in this one, tried to cut it below 30-50hz. I just want to point out to the people having a listen, that the sample that streams on the website has a small static-like noise in it. . The download version will not have this noise, i believe the compression for streaming degraded the sound a bit.

Dark spooky ring wind godly. Watch out for the blip! i really should have edited that out, but this sample was made by rubbing sound into some vst's using the fairlight mfx3 single frame loop feature recorded onto a mac g3 in a very smoky room very late at night. From memory this was a recording of a stone being dragged, altho a bit hazy as i think i made this sound in 1999.

In this sound track, someone is handling a bag of crisps with strong intent on making rumple noises. The motion is holding and folding the bag of crisps. The sounds has a metallic quality to it, the motion is done at random. Useful for sample slicing. It is recorded with a simple tie microphone and then edited on audacity to reduce noise and isolate the sound.
